Welcome to the world of the Cactoons ®. Cactoons are whimsical cartoon like figures that look like cactus. Hence the name Cact-oons. These figures are actually mini-digital photomontages incorporating several different species of cactus found in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. Cactoons live on a distant planet and enjoy the lifestyle of the Old West with covered wagons, six-shooters and tumbleweeds.

Each print and book illustration is a composite of digital photographic images and paintings. The Cactoons, western style clothing and accessories, animals, landscape and buildings are actual photographs while the moons, stars and sky are digital paintings.
